Here is an issue that I picked up recently that you may be able to cast some light on.

Currently in Jersey we are again in drought conditions and yesterday was day 24 with no rain. Looking at my Top 10 records page the 24 days with no rain this year should feature but it does not. As this seemed a bit odd I looked at the current month.ini file and that shows quite clearly the number of dry days. I also looked at the equivalent report in CMX and that also shows 24 days.

I know that the CMX report has changed recently maybe the CUtils report process needs to be updated as well. What do you think? I assume that it is not just the longest dry period record but all the data in the .ini file that is not being transferred.

Hi Andy,

It was not so much a bug as wel the fact that the record is only registered when there is a change in wet->dry / dry->wet. So the current period is only registered when it has ended. I did already change that to have the current value of the current period visible as well, it is tested on my site and working fine. I will release that version tomorrow or late this night.

As ever perfect timing, today the drought broke with a current 1.2mm rain so far today and more is forecast.

I will check out the current program solution in the morning and look forward to the updated software in due course.

As you mentioned following the change from dry days to wet the longest dry period was recorded on the Top10 records.

It will be interesting to see the change of process with the new software.
