Yes, it lost track of time:

Code: Select all

2023-03-13 15:10:19.401 Information ExtraSensorslog: timeStart = 13/03/2023 15:01:00; timeEnd = 13/03/2023 15:00:00
It must have skipped one period which should not happen.
Obviously I need to look at how this possibly can happen, but the next question is how can we correct this now.
I see two possibilities to correct:
  1. Get it in sync by setting manually LastUploadTime=13/03/23 17:00 ten minutes back to 16:50 hours (or whatever value it has now)
  2. If that does not work, remove the existing json's from CUtils
Another point is that you moved to 6.17.2 which is good. But you need to check on this thread by Andy. You seem to have a similar issue and maybe the syncing has to with it because it can't correctly upload. You need to remove the value of the parameter UploadDir :!:

This new upload apparently has some child diseases.

Is it possible to find the log where it first went wrong?
And could you post cumulusutils.ini?

Sorry I don't have the log files before today ( I removed them to tidy up so I could read the new ones hah) - I'll have another look though and I'll read through what else you have said here - thanks.

I've always had my uploaddir as - http://stewartonweather.com/upload.php

Your uploaddir in cumulusutils.ini is

Code: Select all

UploadDir=/public_html
You needed public.html for FTP but not for the PHP upload method as all files are placed relative to the upload.php.

It was a bug that the UploadDir parameter was not added to the upload path (sorry for that). Now in 6.17.2 it is, to reach other location possibilities for the files. As the public_html is actually not seen by the user when using HTTP, it should not be in the path. So for you that parameter must be empty.

[EDIT:] I see you regressed to patch 1, that is not wise.

Sorry Hans,

That seems to have been user error on both accounts - trying to sort haha

ok - changing the modified date didn't help -- I changed the upload path on cumulus, but not on utils.

but on sunday I saw the patch and somehow thought it was a patch of the recently released one - and I've changed the path

I think it's fixed and yes, regressing a version is rarely a good idea.

OK. I see your site is up and running and doing the updates again. You only miss a bit of charting but that will fase out.

All is well that ends well.
