So with my current configuration using an ecowitt I'm publishing from the server to wunderground, weathercloud and WOW. I'm also serving it to cumulusMX - this then gives me the option to send it to other providers listed by Cumulus, which admittedly I can't get to full work right now with my own setup.
However, my idea is that you take the data for cumulus and then redirect it to another port. This for example would allow me to install the ecowit hacs on home_assistant and direct my data to cumulus and then back to home_assistant. Right now with my basic knowledge I'm having trouble with mqtt - but a simple redirect would allow me to just blast it to the HA plugin.
Just a thought.

Re: Re-publish data received from a weatherstation
CMX already offers the ability to both pull data via HTTP GET or POST requests; and to push data to a custom HTTP destination, and via MQTT.
When thinking about solutions you have to think in the general sense in what will work for all the stations supported by the software.
