1.8.4 Build 589 bug report
Although it is minr, the display on this release shows moonrise but moon set just shows 5 dashes. The moon picture is also now on the left side. Is this correct?

Moonrise and moon set working fine for me and the moon picture has always been on the top left side.
Nothing is foolproof, to a sufficiently talented fool . . .

Re: 1.8.4 Build 589 bug report
I'm getting the five dashes as well since early this morning. I upgraded to build 587 a couple days ago and it was displaying the moonset right after the upgrade, as far as I remember.franciscus wrote:Although it is minr, the display on this release shows moonrise but moon set just shows 5 dashes. That would be because the moon doesn't set where you are, today.
And your moon picture is on the right, in my browser.
Edit: Just seen Keith's post - good point - are we talking about Cumulus or your web page?

Does that mean we have the moon all night lighting up the sky? <G>. With the overscast here I would never see it anyway. Not on the webpage, but rather on the desktop display. Webpage shows it on the right as always. Then again, I am using the webpages I borrowed from you from an earlier version and not what the new build creates.

It'll probably set not long after midnight, so it shouldn't keep you awake
The moon (and the cloud, before that) was always on the left in Cumulus, I think.

Yes, indeed. The code to do that is quite complicated, good to see it's working.

Re: 1.8.4 Build 589 bug report
This may of course apply to all builds <G>
Forecast: Occasional rain, worsening
While the worsening part is correct, rain certainly cannot happen at almost -2 c <G> Perhaps freezing rain, but certainly snow as it is doing here at the moment. Perhaps, when the temp hits 0 or below a forecast of Precipitation might be more accurate? Just a thought

Perhaps the temperature will have risen by the time the forecast comes true?

Not supposed to according to the official forecast <G> At least not until later next week. Of course the fact that we live close to the shores of Lake Ontario and that this is Lake Effect snow, might have something to do with that too.

Re: 1.8.4 Build 589 bug report
Or just replace the word rain with precipitation throughout, whatever the temperature. (As I understand temperature isn't in the algorithm for calculating the forecast)

I notice that most of our local forecasts and national ones as well show a POP as % <G> Probability of Precip/dc1500 wrote:
