Yeah I thought that after I had approved the post. It's a scammer tactic, so I've been keeping my eyes open for activity before taking any action.
I just saw 27 June on the previous post - didn't clock that it was 2010!
yep I run a forum since Apr 2004 and moderator another, Necroposts are usually bots in nature.
if you added some tools to phpbb you could probably lock all posts that are say 2-3years old or archive them to a read only section of the forum. this is dependant of how many spammers you get I suppose.
