Hi All,

Thanks for the tips on how to get easyweather imported.

Originally I had made the timestamp in the today.ini a value well before my easyweather info started. Just now I changed it to match the exact date of the Easyweather data and hey presto it started updating!!

Thanks to everyone for your help.

Ok, now I have something new with the easyweather import. Cumulus does the import fine for all my data, but when I close it down (it seems to close properly and it does take a while) the next time I open up Cumulus all the data prior to Oct 31 (when I started using Cumulus) is gone.

Any clues?

Almost certainly a problem in the log file, as described in the FAQ: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#When_I ... rlier_data

Thanks for all that advice. I didn't notice any error message in the log file but I did do something else which seems to have fixed the problem.

I am running windows 8 and instead of the original tile for Cumulus I decided to fancy it up a bit. So using Oblytile I made a new tile. That was when the problems kicked in for Cumulus (at the time I thought it was a coincidence). After this I decided to re-do the Cumulus tile and made a new one (with a different background colour). This time I must have done something different in assigning the target file in Oblytile as Cumulus began working again.

Now, I am not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but everything seems to be working now.

Cumulus is excellent by the way!!

I'm not familiar with tile editing (yet), but I assume they have a default path just like shortcuts? Getting that wrong would probably cause the issue you saw.

Hi Dane,

If you have the time to spare, I have about 6 months of Easyweather data that I would like converted to Cumulus format.
I can see from the previous posts that you have been very helpful providing this service.
It would be most appreciated if you can. :D

I am afraid I messed up data syncs and would need to import from scratch from easyweather.dat.

Can anyone please explain me how to do it?

Thanks
