Re: spam

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Definitively hacked. The second one this week I've seen. (I miss a report message option in this forum)

We had a spate of those messages on WXForum.net too. Came from old usernames who hadn't posted in quite a while.
Likely the result of some other forum leak of name:password that circulated on the dark web, and an enterprising soul
tried them on various forums. Always the same basic post with the odd spelling of 'Сasual Dating' in the topic title.

Since some of the IDs had valid posts, I just moved their ID to a 'non posting' group and left them so their prior valid posts would be visible.
The spam posts were removed. They seemed to mostly do one post in the first forum board and then vanish. On a couple of occasions, they spread duplicate posts across multiple boards. It's been quiet for a couple of weeks now, so their novelty of reusing old IDs seems to have worn off (thankfully).

Definitely no 'Report Post' option that I can find for a normal user (like me) which most other boards have. Would be a good addition!

On my phone, there are three dots to click in the top right of the post that expands those buttons.

True.

It's interesting because:
we have 1 icon,
Mapantz has 2,
mcrossley has 8!

You can see who is a minnow and who is a big fish ;) .
