I've just upgraded to v7 and it was a fairly painless exercise. Only a couple of things caught me out:

1) I didn't see this in the upgrade instructions - if you're using custom chart or menu definitions you need to copy the relevant .def files into the new CMU directory structure.
2) When running Cutils from Task Scheduler I had to use the full path for dotnet, i.e. "C:\Program Files\dotnet\dotnet.exe". The instructions seemed to suggest you could just use 'dotnet' but that didn't work for me.

I've not 100% checked the new web site/data but the quick checks I've done so far look good.

Thanks, I'll review the instructions.
Late reply because of prolonged easter holiday :)

Hah - I have just completed my own migration and just got utils up with a similar situation - thanks packman for posting this - will need to review and update in the next few hours.

Looks good to me Hans. The only two issues I had to resolve are now noted so I'd have breezed through even quicker with the instructions as they are now.

It's all working well which is excellent considering in the same session I migrated CMX/CU from Linux to Windows, upgraded CMX from v3 to v4, upgraded CU from v6 to v7, upgraded WxSim to the latest version whilst also migrating it from a virtual Windows PC to a physical mini PC...and all on the day the clocks changed to summertime

Hi Hans,

I noticed that the Graph Windrun no longer works. Your own website has issues with that as well :)

Hmmm... Indeed. Thanks for the observation.
It does not seem to work anywhere. Strange, no changes there and no relation with dotnet. Pure javascript.
I'll look into it.

just to say upgraded to the latest beta and everything looks good - other than the fricking reports which I can't get my head around relative and absoloute paths .... strange how it has stopped working though because I'm sure I'm using the same settings as prior to the migration.

Ha.. I forgot to report back I fixed that windrun issue in beta 3 :D

But @Nossie, what reports are you talking about? If its the NOAA the please first check if it works in CMX!

The NOAA reports and they work fine on CMX

Then check the naming of the directory CMX sends the reports to. Capitals are relevant!

If still nothing, please post Cumulus.ini and cumulusutils.ini
I assume all other upload work fine?
