AWEKAS transfer error ?

Posted: Fri 01 Mar 2024 8:52 pm
by mimo57
Good morning,
For several weeks, Cumulus MX has no longer transferred my statements to AWEKAS.
I use the "Cumulus MX Directlink" configuration which until now worked well. But looking at my AWEKAS profile, no more data is displayed since 12/20/2023.
Is this a Cumulus or AWEKAS problem?

Thank you for your feedback.

Could you switch on debug and data logging via the interface for a period of time covering a couple of intervals and then zip up your latest MXdiags file and attach it to a reply to this topic?

Hello,
I hope this is the correct data requested.
Thx

Hi,
Is this your station? https://www.awekas.at/en/instrument.php?id=9033
Last data seems to have been 2023/12/20

From that MXdiags it looks like your sensors are disabled

EDIT
I have read that AWEKAS can and does stop sensors if in their analysis the data is not valid. I can't seem to find in the settings where this can be reactivated.

Enjoy,
Paul

Obviously it was AWEKAS which blocked all my sensors.
Thanks for the help.

Since AWEKAS was so unreliable and with other issues for me, about 9 months ago, I stopped uploading to it.

I'm getting errors on all third-party sites that I upload to.

Anybody else getting this many?

That's only half of them.

I am just getting the half dozen or so a day from both WOW and AWEKAS which is as far I am concerned about standard.

yep. I had restarted sending data to WU, but I just think the site is garbage since the take over a few years back. I have noticed more failures on AWEKAS in the last few months too.

Guessing it might be worth pulling the plug on some of these if they cant be stable enough.

I get a lot of upload timeouts to AWEKAS as well. I'm going to drop it from my live system and just keep it on the debug for testing purposes.

Whilst I try out some new code, you could try restarting MX, if I'm right that should slow down the errors for a period.
