Asking for a friend not on the forum
He has a Davis VP2 and Weatherlink 6313
Can this connect to Cumulus MX

Hi Paul,
Yes it can if the 6313 is uploading to Weatherlink.com. Select the Davis Weatherlink Cloud (WLL/WC) station type in CMX station settings. The data will not be live as the access depends on whether a Weatherlink.com basic free or Pro paid subscription.

If he bought an older console would that work alongside this new version. Best of both worlds sort of thing.

Hi,
Yes both will work with the same ISS, but the old style console would need a datalogger for connecting to a computer and to work with CMX whereas the 6313 does not.
