Cumulus Users Weather Map

Tony of Beaumaris Weather (https://beaumaris-weather.com/) has started a Cumulus User Map that positions our weather stations on (currently) Google Maps (https://beaumaris-weather.com/wxcuusermap.php).

If you would like to add your weather station position go to his page and click on Click Here in the top banner of the page.

His code outputs some XML which I will use to try to revamp the Wiki Cumulus Users page which is way, way out of date!!

Personally I think it is interesting to see where everyone is, so have fun!!

I've never heard of there being a Cumulus user map.
But nothing is lost. I just reported my station :)

Hi,
So after a recent spat of a prawn deciding to inject crap into my database (unsuccessfully), Why do tosses do this ?.
Oh and I have tracked them down and know who they are ( Sad when you know who it is ) !
I have gone down a different road and re-vamped my "Cumulus User Map page entry form'.
So here it is, we will see how it pans out.

Kindest Regards,
The geolocation is invisible so the form cannot be completed.

This isn't working for me.
I filled out the form completely, correctly positioned the marker on the map, and set the appropriate timezone. However, I'm stuck at the reCAPTCHA button. It's unclickable, and I'm unsure how to proceed with it. Although I can submit the form, my credentials aren't showing up in the list or on the map.

Hi De Hout,

The reCaptcha is a new type, only needs clicking if it senses an automated or malicious entry. I have modified that now so it is hidden unless there are issues. Oh and in addition all data you enter is safely encrypted and only I have a non saved passkey to view it.

The old input I used to use allowed the user to enter all data and on submit it would update my database and the map would display new entry immediately. However due to one person continually trying to corrupt the database I now have to enter all submitted sites after you send the info.
I was asleep when you sent yours (sorry about delay).

Thanks Hans

Thanks for adding my WS.
I wasn't aware you have to enter the data manually.
Don't be sorry for any delay. It's still a hobby. :D

Hi,
Just an update : I have now added a Column Headers Sort function to the Table containing the Users List.
Click any Column Header (except Website Obviously :D ) and it will sort, each click on the same header will swap between ASC or DESC order.

Hi Tony, wonderful work.
Sorting works great. At the moment CU1 = 20, CMX = 36. More old-school than I expected.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi,
Thanks @PaulMY , I thought about you sitting there counting the CU Versions, so I wrote some new code and queries from MySqli to automate the Counts for you " Totals by Cumulus Version used " now on page as per below.
Updated : Modified Totals (now in a Table).

Hi Tony,
I have both CU1 and CMX running but being on the CU1 list is fine as I am still loyal to it as well...

Enjoy,
Paul
