Just had a short power cut here, and once again, observed the AirLink data spiking when it comes back on.

Look at the AQI line on my graph.. it shouldn't go up like that.

That is where you need to look at confidence figures. At startup it has little data to calculate from, and the corresponding confidence percentage will be very low.

It still doesn't explain why the instantaneous values jump so high after the AirLink has restarted. It does it every time when there's a power cycle.

True. No idea, I only power mine off once a year to give it a clean - I'll look at it next time.
