Hi there,
I recently purchased a Win11 laptop and migrated all my backup cumulus 1.9.4 files from my old laptop to their corresponding Cumulus directories in the new laptop. I got it up and running ok but I have noticed an annoying problem. When I open the monthly records tab (View -> highs and lows -> monthly) I find, for example some November and July records listed in the January tab. These errors I can see in the monthlyalltime.ini file in the data directory. I found a backup ini file in a backup folder which has the correct data, but when I delete the ini file in the data folder and replace it with the backup (non corrupt) ini file cumulus simply reverts somehow to the corrupt file when I reopen the program. Very frustrating. Is there a certain way this has to be done? Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Rob

Hi,
Maybe you can try the live Edit > Monthly Records and make a correction and see if that keeps. and updates the .ini file correctly.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Corrupt monthlyalltime.ini file
Thanks for the tip Paul. Your recommendation worked great and the ini file is retaining the changes I made. What was happening for example, Apr 11, 2012 (2012-04-11) was in the ini file as 2004-11-12 ie. Nov 12, 2004. It took me a good couple of hours to make the corrections!
Thanks Again!
Rob
