The forum has been unreachable for some time this afternoon.

It could've been! I was upgrading the server to Ubuntu 22.04.1 (from 20.04) and something went wrong. I think the forum was offline for about 50 minutes. If I had known it would be off that long then I would've made an announcement first
It's all fixed now.
