I don't think there's a fix to that - http / https (mixed content) Chrome and Edge (chrome) now block mixed content. Only way I can think of is this:
Chrome: chrome://settings/content/insecureContent in to your address bar and press enter. Click Add and enter [*.]example.co.uk
Edge: Edge://settings/content/insecureContent in to your address bar and press enter. Click Add and enter [*.]example.co.uk

@beteljuice, looks good to me. Just one minor typo. White House is two words.

What a strange community this is, and how is the longevity of Cumulus !
After an initial surge, a quiet time on map additions, but the last but one added hasn't posted in 10 years, and the last one in has never posted since joining in 2015.
Both have genuine active sites
Last one in also found a new way to break the map - fixed

Re: *** Unofficial Users Map ***
Nothing much to tell, just for your information ..
A few code tweaks under the bonnet, and two new bits of eye candy.
1/ Lat / Lon graticule added
2/ realtime Day / Night shading (disappears when zoomed in)

Hi Beteljuice
The map looks good, I like the day/night shading which moves in real time. You noted that it fades away on zoom but when I looked this morning the shading did not fade on zoom.
Keep up the good work.

Re: *** Unofficial Users Map ***
Nice updates, I think the day/night shading needs a tweak when using the satellite map though.

Not really do-able (with any degree of success).mark wrote:I think the day/night shading needs a tweak when using the satellite map though
The shading has to be so opaque and / or a different colour that you lose detail of what's underneath
Just something I banged out for a multi-purpose feel-good factor.
I might try a yellow leading edge, but I'm not optimistic ...

I like the yellow boundary line. And overall easy to navigate or see the larger picture!
@beteljuice, thanks.

Re: *** Unofficial Users Map ***
Yes that works well, clearly defined boundary.
