Cumulus Support

While the Wiki is now on a new VPS hosting, the underlying DNS for wxforum.net and cumuluswiki.wxforum.net needs to be changed in order for me to cancel the shared-hosting service.

Unfortunately, the only way to unravel the DNS is to cancel the wxforum.net domain (which takes cumuluswiki.wxforum.net out also), transfer the domain ownership, add it to the VPS package and configure the detailed settings. As such, it may involve a 24 to 48 hour downtime for the DNS propagation to complete and the services back up for all.

Meanwhile, during the outage, the Wiki is safe, just not addressable for a while.

I need to do this in the next couple of weeks and will let you know when the planned outage will be.

We've started the transfer of the domain to a new registrar.

There will likely be a time while cumuluswiki.wxforum.net is unavailable, but we'll be back.

Wiki is now being resolved by my UK DNS, but wxforum is still lost ...

wiki is working for me now, I can get the forum home page to work with this address https://www.wxforum.org/ but any links from that page don't resolve... yet

We're still waiting for the wxforum.net domain to transfer registrar from enom.com to ionos.com due to the 6-Day ICANN transfer process. It should complete by 26-Jan-2020.

The wxforum.net domain transfer has completed and the site is back online 22:15 25-Jan-2020 (Pacific).

Since we've changed to use https://cumuluswiki.org/ as our new Cumulus Wiki address, the https://cumuluswiki.wxforum.net/ will now 301 redirect to the new Wiki domain.

Tried to make an edit in the Wiki yesterday & got a CAPTCHA error.
I did do a couple successfully before the upgrade.

Oops.. sorry about that. I've changed the reCaptcha keys to allow both old and new domains for the wiki.
