As a matter of interest your server has got PHP installed? This script is a PHP script running on the server end and you are getting an 500 Internal Server error which points to PHP not being available.

Thanks David,
This is interesting certainly. The host provider** previously said “ We are currently running PHP version 8.1.14 and cURL should be enabled by default. ” when I inquired them based on BT’s prerequisites on his instructions. Do we need a specific PHP version? I shall go back and pursue them further!
Best,
Bridge

Then it should work fine.
Just noticed there are two topics in this forum about the Forecast. Iam using the source and instructions from this Topic viewtopic.php?p=81348#p81348

Re: BT's Sager PHP Script V2 - For Cumulus
Yikes…
The forecast still does not show up on my home page.
In the past 3-days I have tried the many, many suggestions in this thread from those who have had the same issue.
It did remove ‘file not found’ issues that Water01 (David) found earlier when he checked my site using (I believe) browser’s /inspect/console utility.
I did numerous configurations of .htaccess including Mark’s PHP>JS in index.htm and .htaccess rewrite idea (which I liked).
At this point I may be staring too close and overlooking something very obvious. If you look at the site and see such a thing please point them out and I’ll try suggestions you may have.

Thx,

And another http://www.komokaweather.com/komokaweather-ca/index.php
Hope this is helpful.
Enjoy,

Re: BT's Sager PHP Script V2 - For Cumulus
Paul,
I tried 101 suggestions and combinations of suggestions. Yours was the 101…and it worked! THANK YOU.
Forecast is wrong but that I will wrestle with that next! Actual NWS forecast (using ‘KLAX’ coincidentally in bt-sager-cu file as that is where I am) is far different from our area:
Actual local forecast for next 48-hours..NO rain!
This Afternoon
Sunny, with a high near 66. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tonight
Clear, with a low around 39. Wind chill values as low as 30. Breezy, with a northeast wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tuesday
Sunny, with a high near 67. Wind chill values as low as 30 early. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Thank you, thank you!

Re: BT's Sager PHP Script V2 - For Cumulus
Paul,
Thanks again for making the forecast text appear.
Hmmm…Same forecast for a good while now so not sure if it is actually updating. It says ‘fair’ although I would have thought it to say ‘sunny’ given the clear blue skies we have going currently.
- ICAO is correct “KOXR”. Oxnard California
- The bt-sager-cu.PHP is updating on PC (as evidenced by time stamp on -cu.PHPTMP file) and same time stamp on -cu.PHP on server.

Hi,
The beteljuice has not visited here for over a year and it is generally understood that he has passed on. A big loss to the community here at Cumulus Forum, but his scripts carry on. B.T.J. would be your best bet for assistance.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: BT's Sager PHP Script V2 - For Cumulus
With all BT-SAGER in place and running fine for a while, it seems to consistently overstate the force/speed of the forecasted winds. Often saying things like ‘Strong Breeze to Near Gale (25-38 mph)’ when there has been light of no real wind to speak of.
Any see same in your SAGER forecasts?

I should also add to my post above that the local METAR and airport (KOXR Oxnard, California) also does not forecast high winds such as the SAGER forecasts.

Re: BT's Sager PHP Script V2 - For Cumulus
Can the Sager forecast txt be feed into (in place of) the scrolling forecast text window at the top of the gauges webpage?

Re: BT's Sager PHP Script V2 - For Cumulus
Off the top of my head, save the output of the script to a file called "currentconditions.txt" in the root CMX folder.
You can then pull the contents of that file using the <#currtcond> web tag inthe realtimegaugesT.txt file instead of the forecast tag.
