Yeah no idea why I got the dreaded 500 error but 2.8 worked fine on all month logs going back to 2013. Hopefully I'm not missing out on anything

Any chance you post the error log up (there must be one on your server somewhere). That should give a clue as to the errors that are occurring. Just to clear it will be called "error log".

yeah I have already looked for the error log.. it appears they don't make it easy to get to look at it.. I've asked them to provide it or the location
