The weather station(WS-1090-Solar) is getting the data from the sensors, but the software on my WIN7 PC is not being updated without shutting the software off then starting it up again. Cumulus will then pull the data then and display the updated information.
I'm not sure what I need to change to get the updates to occur on a running schedule.

Re: Cumulus software not pulling data from station
You have set very small 'spike removal' values:
4/23/2014 17:11:05.249 : Spike removal:
4/23/2014 17:11:05.249 : TD=0.10 GD=0.10 WD=0.10 HD=0.10 PD=0.10
4/23/2014 17:11:05.249 : MR=0.10 MH=0.1
A setting of 0.1 is almost guaranteed to be exceeded by each new reading, so Cumulus is ignoring most of the data:
4/23/2014 17:16:09.359 : Wind or gust difference greater than specified; reading ignored
4/23/2014 17:16:09.359 : Gust: Old value = 2.4 New value = 2.7 EWgustdiff = 0.1
4/23/2014 17:16:09.359 : Wind: Old value = 1.7 New value = 1.7 EWwinddiff = 0.1
4/23/2014 17:16:09.360 : Pressure difference greater than specified; reading ignored
4/23/2014 17:16:09.360 : Old value = 1000.6 New value = 1000.4 EWpressurediff = 0.1
You may not have intentionally set those very low values, but perhaps you cleared the boxes? But as the help for the calibration screen says:
Important: You must enter a valid number; if you just clear the box, you will get the minimum value of 0.1, which is probably not what you want!
Unfortunately this is caused by the third party component which handles the data entry (assuming the problem is that you cleared the boxes). Clearing the box causes the minimum valid value to be set. I had to change the component once as the old one didn't work at all on a few systems, so I don't want to have to change it again. I'll have to have a look at it at some point to see if I can change the way it behaves, as you're not the first to have fallen into this trap, which is why I added the warning to the help.
If for some reason you want to "turn off" the spike removal, enter a very high value that won't be exceeded. The default is 999.

Re: Cumulus software not pulling data from station
I don't remember doing anything in that area, but I might have. I replaced the ".1" with 1.0 instead. I'll see what happens over the next couple of days.

Re: Cumulus software not pulling data from station
Might I suggest 1.0 is way too low. Either choose values that are above realistic changes (designed to remove spikes) or do as beteljuice suggests and use 999.TheCrow wrote:I don't remember doing anything in that area, but I might have. Re: Cumulus software not pulling data from station
I've changed the values to the 999 as suggested.
