Re: Davis 'Live' Console for Cumulus Websites Ver CU2.3.0
Hi BCJKiwi ! First of all : Happy new year to you !
As told on wxforum, I removed the 2.2.2 script from my site and installed 2.3.0 you can see below
http://www.meteo-saint-brevin.fr/davconvp2CU.php
without any modification except tz for Europe/Paris and VP2+ with "Y".
When clicking on Solar, I first got a flat line with 0 values. Looking on davcon24T.txt, I replaced the
webtags <#SolarRad h=n> with webtags <#RecentSolarRad h=n> and then I got the right solar values.
My second problem was wrong values for Hi Lo temp, windspeed and pressure with sometimes a higher value in Lo than in Hi.
A check of my davcon24.txt gave me the explanation. Temp, Windspeed and Pressure values were
formated with a comma ie 12,4 9,9 13,5 and so on.
Back in davcon24T.txt, I changed the webtags <#RecentOutsideTemp h=n> with webtags <#RCRecentOutsideTemp h=n>.
I did the same for windspeed and pressure and then I got values in the format 12.4 9.9 13.5 and so on.
It was not necessary for Hum which gives integer values.
All the Hi Lo values display in the right way now.
The only remaining issue is I don't have any display of UV and Solar value even now during the day. The Internal temperature des not toggle to anything else.
Thank you for having read my long post and sorry for my bad English level.
Best regards
Marcel

Re: Davis 'Live' Console for Cumulus Websites Ver CU2.3.0
Thanks for the info.
Will update the data file for Cumulus with the right variable names to eliminate the issues with , separator and review the rest as well.
Would you please pm me a copy of your davcon24.txt with solar data. I run a Vue so this is simpler to test with a 'real' set of data.
Thanks

Re: Davis 'Live' Console for Cumulus Websites Ver CU2.4.0
Hi Folks,
It seems the station number was left at 6 (the one I use) and some of the sites seem to have this set at 6 also - suspect the setting;
$stnnumbers at line 128 may have been missed?
Have changed the download files for new downloads.

You have not given us much to work with.bmdoss wrote:Whats normally the issue when all I get is a white screen? I can get the test.php I made to work..

Is this a local network website or is it publicly accessible - if so, please provide a url / link as suggested by PaulMy.
If not, is this question specific to the 'Live' Console script - i.e. does the standard Cumulus generated website work as expected?
What is in test.php?

Re: Davis 'Live' Console for Cumulus Websites Ver CU2.4.0
Link does not work - 500 internal server error.
Suggest you have a look at this page http://saratoga-weather.org/scripts.php#PHPTest, copy the code block to create a new test.php and run that on your webserver.
Then check the requirements list below.
Even though you are running the Cumulus HTML version, it does use PHP and js and will need to have a compatible setup similar to that required for the Saratoga scripts.
