Re: Importing easyweather history
Hi. I'm also moving across from EasyWeather with about 2 years of data (24000 records sampled hourly) - all in the Easyweather.dat file.
I'd like to load the historic data into Cumulus. I have some skills in data manipulation but if someone else has made a headstart already then I would appreciate not "re-inventing the wheel".
Any assistance and advice would be great, and would be reciprocated.
thanks
I'm contactable on mharvey@harveynz.info
My easyweather.dat file is in dropbox at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18401133/201104 ... eather.zip

If so, you can force Cumulus to read it and build all its data from the information in the unit.
I found this post quite helpful. Thanks for the info. Thanks for the forum. Thanks for the software. (small donation sent)

Re: Importing easyweather history
Hi everyone
Having finally decided to lash out and buy myself a weather station for my birthday (a rebadged Fine Offset WS-3081 for $100 on ebay) and installed the EasyWeatherPlus software that came with it I decided that there had to be a weather program out there that was easier to setup/view and thankfully found Cumulus
A great job on a great program Steve
So I began to wonder if I would be able to transfer the data from my weather station and found this post. Luckily I had only been running the weather station for about 3 weeks so it still had all the data in it. I modified the date stamp in the today.ini file (as dane suggested) to just after the first reading and it downloaded everything perfectly so I am all good to go.

Re: Importing easyweather history
I have just found this site after having used EasyWeather for 4 months and would like to use my old data from EasyWeather. How do I get in touch with Dane as I do not seem to have the PM facility available to me as a new User(?).

Hello, I have and Easyweather.dat file containing several years of data.
Would it be possible for someone to convert it to Cumulus?
It would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Importing easyweather history
Hi,
First, Cumulus is awesome...I love the simple to read clean looking dashboard.
Second, I need help importing about 1.5 months of Easyweather data.
Dane,
From the posts it looks like you have a way to do this...do you mind sharing? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Josh
