I have installed Cumulus and downloaded the extra cp210x converter. The converter does not install on my PC (win 7) and says it cannot find the cp210xmanufacturing.dll.
I have installed another programme from Silicon labs which I thought would fix this but it does not seem to do so...
Your link on this forum does not work for a copy of the cp210xmanufacturing.dll either!
Is there a way of connecting a USB Vantage Vue so that Cumulus can see it using Windows 7?
Two hours later...
I have found that if I put the downloaded file from Davis (CP210X_USB_Serial_Converter_ver2) into the same directory as the weatherlink software it runs properly ( by default it installs to c:\weatherlink). I wonder if you might find it helpful to add this to information to your information.
