Barometer record

Hi
I must say I am impressed with the software it works a treat
I have one small problem that i have been unable to resolve
the low barometer record is being permenantly reset to the current value
I have tried setting the record manually but each time it is over written on the next update
my weather station is a Maplin N96FY (WH1081) USB Weather station
cant quite work out why this is happening & i cant find any reference in the FAQ
anybody got any ideas

Are you using an offset for the pressure?

yes i have an offset of 16.00 this gets the pressure to match my local met office site at manston

Hopefully that thread explained why you shouldn't be doing it that way - although it does get a bit confusing in places

Doing that also means you hit the bug in 1.8.4

Thanks very much for your help i will have a play & see if i can resolve it

seems to have cured it
changed the station to relative & adjusted the reading to include the offset
reset cumulus offset to 00.00
the new record has stopped flashing & all is well with the world thanks
