CMX v4 b4022 with Davis Weatherlink Cloud (VP2)

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

CMX v4 b4022 with Davis Weatherlink Cloud (VP2)

Build 4022 is working great with Weatherlink Live station type. However another b4022 instance using Davis Weatherlink Cloud (VP2) station type shows:

2024-05-11 11:32:49 - GetHistoricData: WeatherLink API Historic Error: 403, Access is not authorized for station 675
Cumulus MX 4.0.0 b4022
The error 403 is expected at startup as this is with a Weatherlink.com basic account so no historical data accessible. The normal 1-minute data updates are ok except for Dew point. The Dew point warning is new with b4022. The local Dashboard shows Dew Point 0.0. MXdiags zip attached for both last running of b4021 and new b4022.

OK, that is truly weird Paul. I double checked the code, and there were zero changes to how MX reads the dew point between 4021 and 4022! :?

I'll inject your data into my debug system and see what happens...

And the answer is.... It decodes it perfectly and uses the dew point! I have no idea at this point why it isn't on your new install. :bash:
