CumulusMX 4.0.0 b4018

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Yesterday I upgraded to the latest beta test, as ever the upgrade when very well with no errors. Currently I am running Davis VP2, .Net 8.0.3 on a RPi 4 with Debian 12 bookworm.

The only point of interest to me was the timing of my CUtils update which is scheduled to run by crontab at 01:00 but today this happened at 02:00. This caused me a brief concern until I remembered the clocks when forward today.

Great work Mark and others, will the CMX v4.0.0 be released as a non beta any time soon? :D

Hopefully v4 will be out of beta soon. I'd like to see a few more people try it and find issues for we go live.

Personally I think it is so good Mark that you are not going to get many!! :clap: :clap:

Have it running on three of my setups and it is not missing a beat!! Best version yet.

It was more issues around installing .NET 8.0 that I was expecting. I think one more beta build this week then go live.
