ECOWITT GW2000 HUB PROBLEMS WITH CUMULUS MX

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Did you disable the Custom upload to GumulusMX from the GW2000? I have a GW2000 and it works with the Ecowitt API settings outlined above but you mentioned you had set the GW2000 to upload to CumulusMX. Check that this has been disabled from the Ecowitt App

Hi Mark,
Yes at the moment I have disabled the custom upload to Cumulus MX to avoid GW2000 crash. At the moment on Cumulus MX I had the Ecowitt HTTP as Station settings and I have to change with Ecowitt API

Changing data source from Ecowitt HTTP to Ecowitt Local API now everything seems to be OK. Thanks to all

CMX accesses the gateway about every 4 to 5 seconds on the local api. Uploading to website normally is indeed 1 minute minimum which I think is too long, as the files I think should be uploaded about every 20 to 30 seconds, but then I only use one main file for my website data.

Yh that shame though but the normal gateway works fine on local API soo it got to be a firmware issue or something wrong in the cmx code to act up like this glad I'm not the only one with this issue
