From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Hi all,
I have got a problem with the realtimegauges.txt file which is being processed by CMX but not uploaded. This is the error I'm getting when looking at the 'Latest Errors' page on the CMX interface, I've not changed anything:
Code: Select all
2023-11-30 12:53:50 - Realtime[1]: Warning, a previous cycle is still processing local files. Skipping this interval.
Any ideas as to what's causing this?
Cheers!

Yep the previous upload is still processing, so it cannot start the next one, so it aborts and retries.

Thanks, David. So is this a web server or a CMX problem?

Likely the web/FTP server or perhaps a slow network connection between MX and the server. The only way it would be a MX issue is if you have a massive realtime file to process - but it would have to be huge to have that kind of effect.

Thanks, Freddie. Speed is not the issue, so have raised this with HostPresto! to see if they can sort it.

You could try out the new PHP upload functionality - that would remove slow FTP servers from the equation.

Possibly related to this issue? -

A bug in the FTP component with some FTP servers, I'm awaiting a fixed to be released. As soon as it lands, I'll update MX to use it.

Ah, thank you both. Yes, HostPresto! are saying it is CMX as I can upload the file manually. It's no biggy as the rest of the website is working fine, but thank you Mark for looking into this.
Cheers!

Also, the latest MXdiags log file attached to your topic is always a good first step.
