cumulus uploading problem

hi i was wondering if someone could throw some light on this problem, we had cumulus working fault free for 10 years or so using the weather blues template on our station site a few months ago we were instructed via head office to upload our weather to the main site via a davis link ( i have no idea how this was done) for a month or so after this was done the weather was updated to both our station site and to the main site every 10 minutes now it is updating perfectly to the main site but has become very very random on our station site with my limited knowledge i am wondering if this is a ftp problem i attach the ftp log

Hi,
The Cumulus 1 logging for diags and FTP isn't as detailed as the current CumulusMX so I couldn't detect anything your attachment. Could you provide a link so we could have a look from that end? What is the difference between the main site and the station site?

first error on the website is:

 Duplicate entry at line 326 of dayfile.txt: 01/03/23. Please correct this by editing the file

Template and realtime.txt seems to have stopped around 13:10 today. Weatherlink.com is uploading ok at the 5 minute interval. The noted error in line 326 of Cumulus dayfile.txt should be fixed as noted, but usually that shouldn't stop the uploads. Nothing else I could detect from the ftp log and website, sorry.

its really frustrating as cumulus will start working reasonably well uploading then stops it can stop for 2 days then starts for a period then stops again
cumulus works perfectly on our station screen its the uploading that is the problem

Just a suggestion. Can you temporarily stop the Weatherlink upload? If Cmulus restarts that might give us a clue.

Did you edit dayfile.txt to remove the duplicate entry? You should terminate Cumulus just to be on the safe side.

It won’t solve the problem but fixes drop down menus up to 2030.

Hi, due to the station computer being at a remote location I will edit the duplicate entry on Friday when I go on duty as for disabling weather link I will have to find out about that and thanks for the update link will report back asap
