Sorry for confusion, Mark. So, as I understand it, it's not possible with my present set-up.

Thanks and regards

You have to use the Davis WeatherLink software to upload VP2 data to weatherlink.com. That cannot run at the same time as CMX (the VP2 only allows a single program to access it ant any one time), so you will have to periodically stop CMX, start the WeatherLink software, let it catch-up, stop it again, and restart CMX.

If you had a Davis IP datalogger, that will do the wl.com upload periodically - if you configure CMX to "pause" and allow it.

The other alternative is the Davis WeatherLink Live device (too many WeatherLinks Davis!), which can upload to wl.com, and talk to CMX at the same time.

Thanks, Mark. I used to be able to upload to WL when I was on Meteobridge. The flash memory started to fail so I went over to RPi which allowed me to run Utils and plot the Airlink data.

Afaik the creator of Meteobridge has reverse engineered the V1 upload protocol, not something I'm prepared to do or support.

just buy a Davis Weatherlink Live 6100. it uploads to weatherlink, and allows CMX to poll for all your davis device data. it just works. you wont need any other data logger.

Will WiFi logger do the job?
Yes, WiFiLogger is an IP logger and has a setting for updating to weatherlink.com This is my Weatherlink.com site uploaded by WiFiLoigger.
As mentioned by ConligWX, Weatherlink Live also is an IP logger and automatically uploads to Weatherlink.com https://www.weatherlink.com/bulletin/9e ... e63b9d35ec

With either a WiFiLogger and WLL you can also run CumulusMX at the same time. With a WiFiLogger CumulusMX will catch up data stored in the logger while CumulusMX was stopped. However with a WLL logger a paid Weatherlink.com Pro subscription account is needed for CumulusMX to access Weatherlink.com historical data to catch up of the data while CumulusMX was stopped.

Enjoy,
Paul
