I don't know if it is related, but I am also seeing all zeros in Cumulus's Recent Extremes for Yesterday. I only run EW and Cumulus intermitantly, when the PC is in use - usually most evenings.

The file properties indicate it was last updated on the 17 August 2008, 10:20:27, accessed today and looking at the file with Notepad it contains the following:-

17/08/08 10:20:27 0.0 0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0 0.00 0.00 0.0 N 0 mph

Real time?

The real time wind speed and direction indicators on my web site are staying at zero http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/m1byt/weather/gauges.htm.

I'm using EasyWeather and I've enabled 'Realtime' in Cumulus on the Internet settings page. Is this not supported due to EW?

I've just got it working again....

I don't know if the fact that I requested a password from Russ a few days ago made any difference, but the following settings are working for me at the moment...

Enabled = ticked
ID = M1BYT
Server = cwop.aprs.net
Port = 14580

I also opened port 14580 in my router.

I have written to them twice. Once regarding some help with small problem with the display, they replied immediately, politely and with the correct solution. I then wrote to the again, this time about the corruption in the rainfall data - they failed to reply to that one.

The rainfall glitch is either in the EW software or its USB driver. If you delete the complete .dat file, or use Worpad to edit out just the lastest lines where the glitch occured and save it, then run EW again - it will download the same data again from the display, but in all likelyhood with no co...

Hi, I'm a radio amateur and was quite involved with APRS in the early days, but now I have rather lost track of it... What do I need to do to set it up in Cumulous? I have put my callsign in the ID box and ticked the enable box. How can I check the data is appearing on the web? I'm behind a hardware...
