Re: UV and Ozone
Oh thanks for the comment about my gauge at close to 400. It has reached 400 now. I will adjust my scale. Update: For those that followed my code, above, I made the following changes to range the scale from 175 to 500 (I changed the lower level to coincide with a color change so that the numbering o...

Re: Steel Series Gauges Pop up Graphs
The 508's have started again but this time it is worse as I am consistently being denied access to my weather home page. The main site (jerbils.info) is ok but whenever (well, a high percentage of the time) I attempt to access http://www.jerbils.info/saratoga/wxindex.php or any of the php's under sa...

If you need further information, let me know.
I notice that the map requires a more direct link too.

Re: It's a long shot but...
Well, still with Hostpapa ;) This time, similar sort of problem. Ever since I started uploading to Awekas directly, despite having fed them through my website for two years, they have now started complaining about my pressure readings being too low. The nearby (30+ km away) METAR is higher, it is tr...

Re: Decimal Numbers On Gauges
Well, for /h search for '/h' and you should find something. For the decimal digits, look for Decimals (or lcdDecimals) and you should find several references. You may have to add a line to specific gauge code to explicitly set the value, typically params.lcdDecimals = 0; update: oh well, I guess you...

grimers said… I was just thinking it would be a good idea for remote working If it is remote access to your system(s) while you are away from home that you require, I have TeamViewer on all my systems so I can access them when I am away from home, on either my Android tablet or Windows laptop. Re: Crazy November weather in the UK
I posted this on Facebook last night… Great weather. It has been overcast for a lot of the day but it is 7.30 pm, it has been dark for nearly three hours and it is the same temperature as the same day in August. It will probably become cooler overnight though. weather11.jpg In fact, the temperature ...

The stick looks nice but, if it is cheap that you are interested in, why not look at a Raspberry Pi 2?

Nearby METAR reports
I thought that I would try and improve the appearance of my METAR reports (although, I could do with some more colorful conditions icons)…

Have you spoken to SoftWx, connecting to weather software is their business. Hopefully they know how to accomplish this.

Re: UV and Ozone
I'll just point out that I used what appear to be standard colors for the ozone value on the gauge. Not sure where I got mine from (e.g. http://ozoneaq.gsfc.nasa.gov/tools/ ) but you can google images for ozone column and find one, then I used an online color matcher to get the rgb codes. Or, of cou...
