David,
Recovering data from the logger is not the issue here, it is writing the display setup data to the eeprom via Easyweather.

Re: Easyweather unable to write data to Watson W 8681 consol
Hi David,
Yes I am aware of that.
I do it because the icon on the display reminds me that I need to download the logger before it overwrites.

Re: Easyweather unable to write data to Watson W 8681 consol
@ Mark, yes that was my first action. @ Alan, I have just tried setlogger as you suggest, strange one this as it appeared to change the logging interval, i.e the app reports that the interval is 30 min when connected, when I set interval to 10 mins and then press read it changes to 10 mins as if it ...

Easyweather unable to write data to Watson W 8681 console
Have searched for any links to this issue but none found, hope someone has experienced and has knowledge of a solution. :geek: I am unable to change any setup data via Easyweather, it will not connect, and am unable to change locally on display as only 2 touch points actually respond (indoor and out...

Philip,
No it would apply to all European sold devices that have the DCF77 radio clock receiver.

Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.
Thank you both for your replies, I will order a 77.5 Khz crystal and a replacement Humirel HS 1101 sometime and solder them in.

Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.
Alan, I apologise for belated reply, somehow I did not get notified of new comment on the topic, (will check my profile). Yes that is the one, thank you for knowing, so as it is a crystal to maintain TX timing at 48 secs, is not the reason I am no longer receiving the DCF77 signal then, strange why ...

Re: Photos of the insides of Fine Offset sensors.
Does anybody know what the small shiny metal tubular component alongside the DCF77 timer receiver is, looks like a capacitor to me, but it has no identification markings at all on it. I was getting very low humidity readings and also lost communication with the DCF, so took the transmitter apart and...

Re: Importing easyweather history
Hi Dane,
If you have the time to spare, I have about 6 months of Easyweather data that I would like converted to Cumulus format.
I can see from the previous posts that you have been very helpful providing this service.
It would be most appreciated if you can.
