Both my instances are now running 4023 (from 4023a zip) fine on Linux.

Re: Climate forum
While climate change is interesting I see on other weather forums where it is discussed it gets bogged down in whether or not it is fact or fiction, mostly from users in the USA, and I find it difficult to restrain my self from commenting in support of fact! It does seem a very controversial topic! ...

Re: RealtimePHP[164]]: General Error uploading to realtime.txt
Been investigating this some more, the issue happened several times in a succession around 01:29 to 01:32 but not all updates failed and the WOW update at 01:30 worked fine. All updates to Ecowitt appear to have been OK throughout the times of these errors. So that probably rules out a router going ...

I'll investigate some more but I've not been informed about any outage either ISP or Hosting site.

Re: Web hosting - any takers?
I do use a hosting service which also handles my email including spam removal, and also handle domain renewals. Like others my contract expires later in the year. I realise your suggested service may well not handle some of this stuff.

Re: Problem with version 4022
Please post a copy of the log file from MXDiags which contains these errors or a copy of the errors if they were in a console window or system log file, that way we might be able to help. Also please explain exactly how you went about starting CumulusMX.

Re: WXSIM
I'd suggest emailing Tom about this. I don't know the accuracy of these sensors especially my Ecowitt one.

Re: WXSIM
The other forum is up and running OK. Anyway WXSim has two methods of getting UV data either from McMahon data (included automatically) or directly from the TEMIS website. If both are set to be obtained it mixes the DU values. Anyway TEMIS suggests for my location 6 UV index today and 5.7 for Sunday...

Re: Ecowitt Advice
Strange, I have a wh32 and it overrides the temp from my ws80 which is what CMX picks up automatically with no settings needed to be changed in CMX.

Re: Ecowitt Advice
What does the WSView+ app show for temps? As long as the WH32 is enabled in sensorid on the app it should be seen by CumulusMX automatically.

Re: V4 RC #2 issues
Is the compression test the same as the HTTPS Certificate issue reported on the other thread? i.e. have you temporarily enabled the advanced option to ignore certificate errors? MX reads the culture name directly from the current culture being used. {CultureInfo.CurrentCulture.DisplayName} [{Cultur...

V4 RC #2 issues
I am also seeing the errors when checking the upload compression which worked before but this instance is not doing any uploads however it carries on no problem as it is not uploading. The compression test worked OK on the previous RC#1. I'll wait to try this on my other instance as that is uploadin...

Re: Check for Ecowitt F/W update fails
I agree it's not critical but today at about the same time on the GW1200 it did successfully get the f/w value and confirmed no update was required but it did not reset the alarm, and more than 24 hours had elapsed when I checked. Mildly annoying because initially I went looking for another update! ...
