OK; thanks for that. I'm happy with using an IP address for now, but I would eventually like to revert to the localhost route so that the IP address doesn't change when things are updated. But I don't know how to achieve this.
Regards, Richard.

Re: Fine Offset guages not working after update
Hi Mark. No errors showing up. But I have just found out that using localhost:8998/ is the IP address that has no activity on the dials, but using the 192.168.56.1:8998/ or 192.168.2.108;8998/ ones works perfectly.
System is latest win11.
An interesting anomaly.
Regards, Richard.

Fine Offset guages not working after update
Hi all, after I updated to v3.27.0 my system is no longer showing any gauge activity in "dashboard" or "gauges" tabs although the "now" tab is obviously getting data correctly from the weather station. Anybody got any ideas how to fix this please? I do start the Cumulus...

Missing data
I opened dayfile.txt to edit it, and discovered that it has never (since 2010 when I started using Cumulus) recorded any data past the 18th column 'time of high average wind'. The data that is recorded seems to be valid, so why is the rest of the data not there? Any help would be appreciated. Richard.

Re: Gauges don't display correctly in Chrome
OK, I've found a work-around. By selecting the Chrome IE plugin on my 'gauges' page, all displays normally.
Thanks for everybody's ideas.

Re: Gauges don't display correctly in Chrome
Hi Mark,
I tried disabling the hardware acceleration, but unfortunately it didn't fix the 'feature'.
Richard.

Re: Gauges don't display correctly in Chrome
Hi Mark, I clicked your test link and saw the word Ultrasounds fine, with colour running through the letters, so I'm guessing that is what one is supposed to see. Looking on the web at other people who are having this problem, it seems to be something that affects transparent backgrounds only. As it...

Re: Gauges don't display correctly in Chrome
Thanks for all the replies. My Chrome has now updated itself to version 24.0.1312.56 m and it is still displaying the gauges with a black background. I have checked in Chrome:plugins and the Adobe Flash Player is still showing as enabled. I tried disabling it and the gauges didn't appear at all. Whe...

Gauges don't display correctly in Chrome
The dynamic gauges at the bottom of my weather page (http://www.smallfieldcomms.plus.com/Smallfield%20weather/gauges.htm) as displayed by Chrome version 23.0.1271.97 m are displayed with a black rectangular box background which hides the text. They seem to be all right in IE, Firefox, Opera and Pale...

Re: APRS display
Steve, it's not causing a problem; I just thought I could put some information in that space, such as the weather station model (which is W-8681, not a Fine Offset).
It's just that I don't like mysteries, so thought I'd ask.
I also didn't understand the answer I got from Russ on the gladstone site.

Re: APRS display
Hi Steve, I got this reply from the gladstone site: --------------------------------------------- You'll have to ask that question to the author of aprs.fi as I don't know how his parser works. But, looking here, http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/find.cgi?call=mb7usy-1 I note that the model of the weathe...
