Re: (monthly)record.htm - at, on, to
Ah, sorry, I was referring to thismonth.htm and thisyear.htm that can be translated. But indeed record.htm and monthlyrecord.htm do have a different structure, so they need to be handled differently.

Re: (monthly)record.htm - at, on, to
Are we talking about the website or the local dashboard? Regarding the website, I think it would mean quite a lot of modifications to make it possible to sync those from strings.ini to website. On the other hand it is quite easy to edit the text in the website html files before uploading them to you...

What build/version are you running? I have 3.28.6 build 3283 and today’s sunshine is calculated correctly.

Re: New HP2551 Setup
Afaik, you have always had to create a firewall rule on Windows if you wanted to access the dashboard from another device. With the advent of of the http "listening" protocols the role is also required from them. I'll see if I can dig out some old threads on this, I'm sure I have the cmd ...

Re: New HP2551 Setup
Slow motion brain kicked in through the night. As I still have V3 running on both laptops I am running V4 on port 8999, don't know if that will make any difference to your problem but could be worth a try on port 8999 David’s problem was resolved by adding the appropriate firewall rule, so no need ...

Re: New HP2551 Setup
I have V4 running on 2 Win11 laptops with no problem one reading the GW1100C and the other my HP2551 station. I got no clue about firewall rules and because it is running great me no touch. ;) Just a thought. When you connect a windows machine to a new network first time, it asks something about ”d...

Re: New HP2551 Setup
Well done everyone, that was it. I enabled an inbound port for Port 8998 for Domain, Public and Private networks and MX is now receiving a full data stream from the HP2551. Didn't have this problem with my HP2551 on Windows 10, could this be a Windows 11 problem? Both win 10 and 11 should block inc...

Re: New HP2551 Setup
Oh, I thought MX pulled the data from the console. Apologies for misunderstanding. No worries, easy to mix up, since the station type HTTP Ecowitt is a passive listener (configured as custom server upload on the console), but on the other hand when using station type Ecowitt Local API, then CMX is ...

Re: New HP2551 Setup
Maybe try switching on debug and data logging, but I suspect it will just show that the data stops coming in. Do I miss something when not seeing data coming in at all except catch-up from cloud? Data from cloud, but no data from station. Implies something amiss with the console API functionality, ...

Re: New HP2551 Setup
When browsing through the logfile, I see no evidence that CMX has received any data from the station (192.168.1.120) at all. So maybe you have not allowed CMX to listen inbound connections in Windows Firewall.

Re: Website "Not safe"
I've had a few people contact me to indicate they can't access my websites as browser indicates not safe. I contacted my webhost GoDaddy and they say, by using Google Chrome to my website yes it has malware, and I need to subscribe to their security service at $324 per year for one domain, or a pac...

Re: Installing CMX v4
Good catch. To clarify for everyone, enable/disable determines that will the service start automatically on next reboot or not. Start/stop is used to start or stop the service immediately.rogerthn wrote: ↑Mon 15 Apr 2024 5:56 pm Enable is to enable the service.
Have you triedCode: Select all
systemctl start cumulusmx
