Re: CMX v4 - b4023
The following command leads to an error message: cmx@raspberrypi:/opt/CumulusMX $ sudo dotnet CumulusMX.dll -install. The error message is: sudo: dotnet: command not found. Since you can run dotnet without sudo from the same folder, the problem must be on your system path variables. It seems that y...

Re: CumulusMX 4 dayfile & NOAA problem
Excellent. Haven’t got the time to test myself yet unfortunately. But I have to disappoint you on the long month names. They are all missing only three letters ’kuu’ like tammikuu, helmikuu, maaliskuu etc. But there is a trick, in that context it means month, but used as itself kuu = moon as the one...

Re: Missing Ecowitt API data in the configuration, cannot get the station list
Probably you are missing the Ecowitt Cloud Access API information (application key, api key and mac) from station settings. The are not needed for Cumulus to run properly, but they are used to catch up the missing historic data when your Cumulus is stopped for any reason.

Re: CumulusMX 4 dayfile & NOAA problem
Now I’m glad that I haven’t had time to try to migrate to v4. This is not the first time the variations in finnish time separator cause problems. If I remember correctly, it changed between : and . also in win7->win10 migration, and the result could be different whether you did an inplace upgr...

Re: HighCharts in the mobile version - problems
Highcharts code is always loaded from their cloud servers (or browser cache), they are not included inside Cumulus.

Re: HighCharts in the mobile version - problems
I wonder if Highcharts CDN provides different version of their code depending from which country you access them. If I remember correctly, Hans maybe forcing the highcharts version to a specific one istead of the latest available. Or it might be I’m totally wrong too.

Re: Ecowitt cloud vs. http.
All the Ecowitt stations use a common bit of code to perform the historic catch-up. This is interesting (along with the requested log file)... If you are seeing zeroes only on extra sensors data, but main sensors are ok, then we probably would need a log file of the startup, and at least data loggi...

Re: Ecowitt cloud vs. http.
Updated to V4 with no apparent issues and have been running for about a week now. I have an Ecowitt GW1000 that I use as a station for several extra sensors. In MX4 (and 3 prior), I configured access by selecting http Ecowitt. One issue I have is that when I have to restart Cumulus, in the restart ...

Re: CumulusMX v4 updating
Luckily the big effort is needed only once when migrating from v3 to v4. Last time we probably had equally major changes at 2015 when CumulusMX was made available.

Re: Gmail Question
Hmmm... and using another mail (e.g. from my provider) and then have it forwarded to my gmail which takes care of whatever check they want to do? It is just another forward in the email isn't it? That should work shouldn't it? I would make a specific email only for CMX with un/pw, so what could hap...

Re: Gmail Question
Do you have a source for that information of removal? The article I found, specifically says tha application passwords will remain usable (under Scanners & other devices 3rd option). https://support.google.com/a/answer/14114704?hl=en The article is for google workspaces, but I would assume it co...

Re: (monthly)record.htm - at, on, to
Ah, sorry, I was referring to thismonth.htm and thisyear.htm that can be translated. But indeed record.htm and monthlyrecord.htm do have a different structure, so they need to be handled differently.

Re: (monthly)record.htm - at, on, to
Are we talking about the website or the local dashboard? Regarding the website, I think it would mean quite a lot of modifications to make it possible to sync those from strings.ini to website. On the other hand it is quite easy to edit the text in the website html files before uploading them to you...
