Re: 3129 and 3130 will not run on my PC

David, you mention running 3129 and 3130. Just curious, how are the two isolated? I'd like to run CumulusMX on two 'Pi's" as I rebuild my Pi's with Buster. Do you have two consoles and or a WLL? Or do you just run two separate occurrences of MX? I suggest you revert to a standard release of Win...

In light of my experience with the "Unhandled Exception" I'd agree, is there an alternative?

Re: Site very slow and weird screens loading.

StarLink, now your talking! The Beta roll out in the US shows real promise. ~350mps in the middle of nowhere! Latency zip! $90/mos. Terrestrial I-net has got to be watching this. The real issue for terrestrial is “density” purely residential will never cover the costs. You need multi-family/apartmen...

Davis wx station webtags not working

Installed b3092 and after running for several minutes the ISS data packet webtags values go to 0. Switched back to 3091 and works fine, go back to 3092 same. Debug log attached.

Re: Wunderground API reading and display in SteelSeries Gauges

What "water01" said....... I'm no programmer just a self taught hack. Gauges.js gets the value from "realtimeguages.txt" file. I haven't the foggiest clue how to do it but it seems to me if you modified guages.js to read the json WU data instead of the realtimeguages.txt would wo...

Re: error on wind values

Thanks to you both. saratogaWX, that was pretty much my thoughts. I just thought I'd bring it up in case there was something hidden in CumulusMX. I had been thinking of doing some searching in the error and data logs but chose the path of least effort (I was also looking for some company in the Covi...

error on wind values

Ok, I'm not really worried about this but I felt I should report it as it may be indicative of some deeper problem. I report to many sites etc. and one is the APARS/CWOP system. The data is screened by 'Gladstone' and they send an automated report. For some time now I've noticed that it routinely 'f...

Re: CumulusMX Errors on Raspberry Pi

I too, had a similar problem. I didn't look at any of the log files but the symptom was that my data would not update. A restart would start everything up again. As Mark mentioned I finally identified the issue as Cumulus not recovering from a temporary network interruption of Cumulus and the logger...

Re: 24 Hour Time

You might check in the CumulusMX/interface folder/directory, I think that's where the local interface web pages are generated.

Re: Rain value problem

Mark, thanks again for the help. I must have missed something as I was making the corrections on the dayfile.txt located in the top directory/folder. Not sure when it was moved to the "data" folder but the last entry was Feb 2, 2019. I'm guessing I did a build update around that time. Corr...

Re: Rain value problem

Mark, thanks for the response. I had put off doing any trouble shooting but looking at the logs I think I've spotted the issue. The logs for 3050 can't go past the rain computation as it finds an error in dayfile at line 1492 (which was back in 2015). Before I discovered the "separator" is...

Rain value problem

Just installed build #3050 and noticed that the yearly and monthly rain totals were incorrect. The values would be "yesterday's" values. I reinstalled build 3049 and all is back to normal. Just wanted to post this and see if anyone else has had the problem. I'll wait to 3051 and see what h...

Tony, sorry, I missed that the post had gone on to the second page, missed everything. Mark is correct I upload in inHg. Anyway my first response follows. Tony, just did the copy and paste from Marks post, here it is I was blown away that something didn't go wrong. Here's the HTTP call straight out ...

Re: Windy.com now accepting PWS data

I've been watching "Windy" for awhile, great site, great presentation and now Mark nailed the api. Cut and pasted last night and it's running fine https://www.windy.com/station/pws-f06ea ... ,-95.534,8
