Re: V4 RC #2 issues
Update:- Solved the locale issue- was a Linux config issue, now both instances say the same. One of the parameters I also measure is the number of CMX processes running on the RPi and with the previous release candidate this averaged 25 to 28 processes. This release the number of process...

Re: After moving from Windows to Linux: Spike removal: Pressure difference greater than specified; reading ignored
You will need to do the same for the other spike values as well.

Please reset the high and low limits to to inHg values rather than hPa values.
This is the second report of this and I need to investigate why (the spike settings changed from using metric only to native units)

Re: V4 RC #2 issues
Is the compression test the same as the HTTPS Certificate issue reported on the other thread? i.e. have you temporarily enabled the advanced option to ignore certificate errors? MX reads the culture name directly from the current culture being used. {CultureInfo.CurrentCulture.DisplayName} [{Culture...

Re: CMX v4 Station Type Davis Weatherlink Cloud (VP2)
Thanks Paul, I see the problem, I defined UV as an integer for some reason, it should have been a double (decimal) value. I double check the other values tomorrow.
The tx id = 0 is because Davis do not send the transmitter id for this type of record.

Re: Sunshine today
As I said above all sorts of data will be incorrect because the overnight rollover processing has been interrupted. Your rainfall will be wrong for example. The sunshine hours is the least of the problems. Example: 2024-05-03 08:01:22.184 DoRain: A reading arrived at the start of a new day, but befo...

Re: CMX v4 Station Type Davis Weatherlink Cloud (VP2)
The UV must be connected to the ISS on the VP2 station, there shouldn't be any configuration to do. It's odd that it is reporting on tx id 0 though.
Please switch on debug and data logging then post the log file after a few updates.

Re: Cron Doubt
No there isn't, not directly anyway, you'd have to do it via a web server call.
MX can call a script locally, if you can make that script do what you want...?

Re: Cron Doubt
I'm not sure what you are trying to do with the cron job. Is that the upload.php that is supplied with Cumulus MX?
It cannot be run that way, it has to be called from Cumulus MX as it uses encrypted content.

Re: Version 4 Release Candidate #2
As a temporary workaround, enabling the Advanced Option - "Ignore PHP certificate errors" will get it working, albeit without checking your hosts HTTPS certificate.

Version 4 Release Candidate #2 This is a release candidate and is a not a debug build, so no debug or data logging enabled by default. You would be advised to enable logging if you are reporting an issue. The distribution file now also contains the alternative dashboard interface as an option, it is...

Re: V4 WLL Wind Speed Bug on Restart
The next build of v4 has a rewritten broadcast handling routine that recovers from missed packets much better. The current version seems to take its time to start seeing them again every so often.
