Hi folks,
I keen on seeing current weather banners in forum and email signatures, but they all seem to use PHP. Before I attempt to write my own, does anyone have an old school ASP component that does this already?

Best Hardware Upgrade for 2023?
Hi folks,
I'm currently running an ancient Fine Offset weather station, with various bits starting to fail
If you were looking to install a new station today, which hardware would you pick to work with Cumulus?

Re: Small low powered PC
Ohh yes please
I'd love to get CumulusMX working on a Pi (I've just acquired a Pi 3 B which looks ideal), but I'm a Windows sort of guy Has anyone done a step-by-step guide or produced an ISO for a basic default setup?

Hardware Recommendations (Urgent)
Hi folks, Well after about 7 years my old Fine Offset WH1080 has finally died. :groan: I'm in two minds as to try and fix it or just upgrade and replace it with something much newer. What's your recommendations? The Oregon Scientific WMR200 or Davis Vantage Pro2 - anyone got any comments? I'm UK bas...

Fine Offset WH1080 - Spider Proof Rain Gauge
Hiya, Putting my WH1080 on a mast attached to the highest point of the roof seemed like a great idea, especially since I'd run a cable down to an external battery at ground level - I'd never need to climb up there again (...was the plan). Yesterday was the 2nd time this year that I had to risk life ...

Re: Differences in Max Temperature
Thanks guys, have modified my dayfile by hand, I think I tried Excel last time and it obviously decided to make the output millennium compliant! ;) I've also backtracked through my alltime file and modified the rain and gust to the previous sensible figures. I'll have to keep a bit more of an eye on...

Re: Differences in Max Temperature
Your all-time record high temperature is from 2010. OK, so I'm a bit slow with my temprature  Thanks Mark, for pointing out all those other 'annomolies'. I know about the Rain and Wind problem, but I'm not sure what happened. The 2020 on the graphs is definately one for Steve though :D My ser...

Differences in Max Temperature
Hi folks, It's been a very hot day today, so I thought I'd check the maximum temperatures on the website. http://www.greenwood-it.co.uk/Weather/today.htm On the TODAY page it's showing a high of 30.1'c at 09:02, where as the RECORD page shows a new HIGH of 31.9'c at 13:40 today???? How can I have a ...

Re: Wind Rose
There's the 'other kind' of wind rose, which I quite like: http://www.climate.washington.edu/windrose/Olympia-WindRose.jpg But I don't think I can do one of those. This one shows a heck of a lot of information, but it also would take up a lot of desk space in order to make it readable as it's got s...

Re: Possible problem with INI file upgrade?
Hmmm, Maybe it's only me then ;) I'm pretty sure I've not done anything to break it :o I've sent Steve my INI so perhaps he can spot something. I've also done a Google for the following; cumulus "records since 18 december 2010" .. but it's only showing my page (at the top) and two new site...

Possible problem with INI file upgrade?
Hi folks, I recently noticed that my RECORDS page was showing a new start date (18/12/2010) which didn't match when I started running Cumulus. I checked for the date in the CUMULUS.INI file and discovered that I had two [STATION] sections. The first STATION section was a the top of the file and had ...

Re: Realtime gauges v1.0.0.5 - Customise or Enhancement
Hiya,
No problem Steve, I'll stick with my hack of setting the browser magnification to 173% to get a full screen display
v2 is definately a higher priority

Realtime gauges v1.0.0.5 - Customise or Enhancement
Hiya, I’ve only recently started running Realtime Gauges on my website (http://www.greenwood-it.co.uk/Weather/gauges.htm) but have a couple of questions, which may lead to enhancement requests! :D Q1) Can I disable the graph on the bottom section of the display? It only really makes any sense if you...

Re: Graphs and cumulus.ini
Thanks guys, Yep, I'm probably looking at 191 sites - I seemed to remember reading somewhere about line widths on the graphs? The lines plotted on my site seem to be very thin. I'll wait for 191 and see what damage I can do to my graphs then :D Chat soon. http://www.greenwood-it.co.uk/Weather/index....
