Re: Problem with the records menu

water01 wrote: Mon 15 Apr 2024 9:12 am Correct, the files in the /data directory should all be copied BEFORE you start CumulusMX, that way it will pick up all the existing data.
Thanks, I'll proceed... ;)

Re: Problem with the records menu

This is the correct all alltime.ini that should have been copied into your data directory. Ok Water01, at this point I think it's best to prepare another SD from scratch, reinstall the system and Cumulus, insert alltime.ini and the other files contained in the data folder and only then start the cu...

Re: Problem with the records menu

Sorry, I correct myself, the given folder on the Raspberry 3 is empty because when doing these tests I moved them and not copied them; I found them all in the backup from a week ago and the data starts from 2021... I attach the file... alltime.ini which I also attach, contains only a few lines... sh...

Re: Problem with the records menu

@hansr true - which implies the inifiles don't contain the data specifying the older records. Hence my comment about copying all the data files from the old location. So the logfile simply states it is reading the file, no data whatsoever is shown. You can't draw that conclusion, and that question ...

Re: Problem with the records menu

ok I think we're there; Attached is the latest log file produced of approximately 1 Mb. There are those FTP errors that continue but they are not due to login errors because the FTP data is correct and in fact the NOAA reports are recorded regularly... We hope to resolve it in the meantime. I wish y...

Re: Problem with the records menu

So again: pleas switch debug on, restart CMX and show the records page in the interface. And do it in that order. So, I had never activated these options but if they are these, I found them already active. I read somewhere that you should put a file called debug.log in the same location as the exec...

Re: Problem with the records menu

Mmm... time to post the logfile. Please set debug logging on, restart CMX and then ask the all time records page in the interface (I am not sure that is needed to get info in the logfile but it does not hurt ;) ) Thanks again for the time you dedicate to me, for the log file I looked in the MxDiags...

Re: Problem with the records menu

Hi, We can see the Records page on your website. Can you also provide a screen capture of your local Dashboard > Records > Records Also, what date do you have in your Station settings > General Settings > Advanced Options > Records Began Date? Advanced Options Here be dragons! Only alter these sett...

Re: Problem with the records menu

Also tried with this setting but nothing to do, everything remains the same. Do you by any chance know from which file Cumulus takes the data to display on the records page?

It sounds a bit as if there is the problem.

I think so, I followed the instructions provided on this same forum. What I don't understand is why in the administrative area the data is found and seen..

In essence, historical data is found and displayed from the administrative area; on the website, however, only the data for the month of April appears.

Problem with the records menu

Good morning and greetings to everyone, I'm transferring my weather site from a Raspberry 3+ with CumumulusMx 3.9.1 to a Raspberry 4+ with Cumulus MX v:3.25.0, b:324, taking advantage of the opportunity to also update the software. Once the new Cumulus was installed, I transferred the Cumulus.ini fi...

Re: My CumulusMx not receiving data from the station ;-(

Hello Mark, I just tried using the link you sent me but it doesn't seem to work. I attach the screen obtained with Putty in SSH after using it so you can check if there is something I did wrong... Do you think we can try something else? (Obviously I restarted the raspberry after giving the command w...

Hi thanks for the information, I'm not at home at the moment but as soon as I get back I'll try and let you know. obviously the URL was launched from the Raspberry but I don't know how to do it because I don't have the graphical interface and communicated with it only via ssh with Putty, could you k...

Re: My CumulusMx not receiving data from the station ;-(

I don't know, but it's certain that with the complete installation of Raspberry OS with graphics and the same version of Cumulus everything worked perfectly. Unfortunately I formatted the SD by mistake and now I find myself trying to fix it but too much Linux is at zero; for this reason I would like...
