Yep - When I check to enable auto discovery, it requires a save to take effect...which doesn't work because the MAC field is blank. :/

Cumulus MX 3.24.1 b3234 - Settings now insist on a MAC address

Hello, I upgraded to b3234 today and noticed that when I try to save any new settings, I get an error message about missing the Ecowitt MAC address. I have auto-discovery disabled (and an IP address manually entered - been this way for years), but it doesn't like the MAC address being missing. Thank...

Re: Cumulus MX offline for 3 days - how to import missing data

Hmm, ok, thanks both for your replies. It's only 3 days of data, so not a huge deal in the long run, but slightly annoying since it's rained quite a bit and now my yearly totals are off. (Not worried so much about temp/wind data.)

Cumulus MX offline for 3 days - how to import missing data

Hello, I just noticed that Cumulus MX was offline for me for several days (crashed maybe?) and obviously didn't record any weather data during that time. I have the missing data from EasyWeather in CSV format and also data from WeeWX (NOAA reports, etc.), but I'm unsure of the best way to import tha...

Re: Forecast and Forum settings are not saved after restart

The "Use Cumulus forecast" option works for me. I don't believe you can set the forum URL via settings, you have to edit the Cumulus.ini file. Cumulus must be stopped if you edit that file directly. Hi and thanks for the quick reply. Some clarification after doing a bit more experimentati...

Forecast and Forum settings are not saved after restart

I've been dealing with this for a while now and wondering if anyone is having a similar problem. I have the "Use Cumulus forecast" option unchecked, but when I restart the Cumulus MX service, it reverts back to being checked. Similar issue with the Forum setting: I remove the default entry...

Thanks, this was the tip I needed. Gauges.js was the culprit, and changing imgPathURL to the correct location fixed the issue.

Re: Server Generated Graphs for MX

Having some trouble getting this to work 100% and hoping another pair of eyes will spot the problem. I've got jpgraph working on my hosted webserver and confirmed using their suite of check scripts. E.g: I'm also able to run the graphing script directly and have an output file created in my cache fo...
