Re: Ecowitt/Fine Offset weather stations
I was shopping online yesterday and ran across Ecowitt. It may be a long shot, but have you tried to use the Fine Offset selection box?

Re: Sensor PM 2.5 & PM 10 - Purpleair Network www.purpleair.com
Yes I just installed the same and was wondering how difficult it may be to use the “put” command on this sensor for Cumulus as well. I don't write code, per se, so I’m unable to do it but it doesn't seem altogether difficult. The temperature data would be unreliable as sensors in the sun read too hi...

Re: Suggested web site hosting offerings
Yes, I too have enjoyed Steve's hosting. This entire thing is just a sad state of affairs. I did try self-hosting (Apache, etc.) on my NAS but tho I could FTP it, never could figure out this whole DNS/Nameserver process. Synology was of little help. It would have been handy to do. Now I too am searc...

Re: Strange Trend Graph
Yes, correct. It is a fine offset.
I downloaded an ran Steve's Setlogger utility. It did change the timing from my manual entry of 3 minutes to 10. Could be it. I'll watch it closely. Many thanks for the suggestion. Fingers crossed.

Re: Strange Trend Graph
Try as I might, I couldn't see anything wonky in the dayfiles or the logs. The graph really never changes though I verified it and the T file are both in the right place both here and via FTP. Hate to reset all … think I'll just leave it as-is until I can get a better handle on it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Steve's Hosting Offline?
Cumulus simply says "cactusjunction.info" without the IP address so I fail to understand what has happened.

Steve's Hosting Offline?
Has anyone else who uses Steve's hosting server noticed it no longer accepts FTP connects?? Is it just me? Tried using browsers and FTP programs with no luck. Cumulus can't update my site.

Re: Pressure Graph Wonky
Interestingly enough, the pressure being reported is accurate but the graph doesn't reflect that. An exam of the dayfile.txt and the Sept files don't reveal any errors..the pressure range is well within reason on all data lines. I had "48 hours" checked on the Cumulus console, in the past,...

Re: Pressure Graph Wonky
Thanks for chiming in here. I will follow your instructions. I got a little lost in the Sep data.txt file. The dayfile will surely give me a better clue where to look. Obviously, I wasn't aware of the correlation between the inside temp and the barometric reading. All this time, I had assumed the ba...

Re: Pressure Graph Wonky
Hi Alan, ...and thank you for your response. I searched the Sep17log.txt file in the data folder but couldn't see it. I didn't replace the whole station but just the transmitter which monitors pressure, rain and temp. The rain and wind speed mechanical items remain untouched. When I re-installed Cum...

Pressure Graph Wonky
A week ago, I noticed that, on the graphs, the pressure reading was flat. I assumed, after 10 years, the Fine Offset unit I'm using failed and I replaced it. The problem persisted. I, then, uninstalled Cumulus, deleted the directory folder entirely, and re-installed. The problem still persists. I'm ...
