Re: Please donate.

Sometimes it's difficult to face, but when you call out for help, most of us do oblige - even if a bit overdue. Did my part, finally. Many thanks for a great piece of software. Can't wait for 2.0!

Cheers,
Andreas

Re: Cumulus 1 enhancements

Hi Steve, This probably hasn't been requested AFAIK; however I wouldn't mind seeing the high/low relative humidity and dewpoint in the recent extreme section on the main screen. Looks like there might be room. And, perhaps by default on the 'today' web template as well (it can be done manually thoug...

Re: 1.8.4 Build 589 bug report

Although it is minr, the display on this release shows moonrise but moon set just shows 5 dashes. The moon picture is also now on the left side. Is this correct? I'm getting the five dashes as well since early this morning. I upgraded to build 587 a couple days ago and it was displaying the moonset...

Re: Weather station recommendations ?

I'll throw my hat in the ring and say if you want to make this a fairly serious hobby at least go for a Davis Vantage Pro2. Having said that I haven't owned any of the other mentioned units, but most in the local weather community here would agree that's the way to go. Our local schools have recentl...

Re: Latitude etc 'breaking'

I can see what you've done, Steve (and yes it works on a 1024 display). Only thing is how does one implement it without putting in the lat/long coordinates manually?

Andreas

Have you uploaded the dbimages directory and its contents to your website yet?

Re: Web page problems

Sorry for hi jacking this thread BUT... I looked at your web site (all working) and you have the same display issue I have, The Latitude Longitude and Elevation figures are "stacked". On others sites they are on a single line, can anyone help on that? TrOjAn I noticed this happening on a ...

Re: Guinea pig?

I like what you've done, I really do. Even the makeshift Vicweather.net logo. I am neither a web developer nor graphic artist so it's nice to see a pro tinker with it. I, for one, would love to know when you will make the template(s) available including of course that very nice dashboard. Cheers, An...

Re: Guinea pig?

I might be able to help as I "qualify" with one caveat: You mentioned realtime.txt needs to be uploaded once a minute. Right now I'm uploading it every 5 sec but this can be temporarily changed if needed. My cumulus data is at http://www.vicweather.net/cumulus It's a test site anyway, so i...

Hi Steve

Looks like the algorithm you are using in the new beta (build 574) is working as it should. Great stuff!

Re: Weatherlink adn Connection Type to Use Cumulus?

When you bought your station, it would have been either the serial OR USB version - if you bought Weatherlink & the logger, that is. So you have one or the other. If you want to run more than one piece of weather software to read data from your station, I would recommend you check out SoftWX's V...

Re: Sunrise time

Steve, I checked the cumulus.ini file and it seems to be reporting correctly as well. A good website for doing the degree/decimal conversion is this: http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/bickel/DDDMMSS-decimal.html In any case, whatever is causing it is not a big concern to me but just something I noticed. I...
