Re: Cumulus MX and Meteobridge

Understood, Steve, certainly the major features are far more important than this.

Thank you for the reply. Have a nice Holiday!

Re: Cumulus MX and Meteobridge

At the risk of resurrecting an old thread, I have been playing around with CumulusMX connecting via the Meteobridge pass through feature. I know there are probably not a lot of folks using this type of setup, but I was wondering if anyone has found a way to get CumulusMX to reconnect after a meteobr...

Re: Debug logging and diagnostic data logging

Ah, I see. So you can turn the logging on and off at will without restarting? That's pretty handy.

Debug logging and diagnostic data logging

Hi Steve, I noticed the debug logging and diagnostic data logging options do not appear to be activating via the GUI. After enabling the options in the GUI and restarting MX, I see them as deactivated when I go back into the GUI. Adding the entries manually in the ini still seems to work. The Davis ...

Re: Wrong date/time for Low Max Temp

Hi Steve, It looks like the Highest Minimum Temp may need an adjustment also. In this case the month.ini has the correct date, but the monthlyalltime.ini is showing +24 hours. I also noticed the log file actually recorded the wrong date (4/15 instead of 4/14). I've attached the 3 files. New monthly ...

Re: Wrong date/time for Low Max Temp

I can confirm the Low Max temp is fixed in build 3024. There was a new low max for April yesterday and the correct date and time are showing on both the This Month and Apr pages. Luckily, it also looks like I will have a new High Min temp from last night, so I will be able to confirm if that is reco...

Re: Gust values from LOOP2 packets

Steve,

Just a quick followup, the gust values appear to be normal now with your coding fix after running for a couple of weeks. I think you can cross this off your known issues list, unless others are seeing anything out of the ordinary.

Thanks,

-Scott

Re: MX and thread usage

In my 'extra files' tab I have 3 files which in the past I have processed and uploaded to my website, I currently do not use them and therefore have no boxes ticked If you have extra files configured but 'ftp' is not ticked, you are telling it to copy them instead. This was something I recently lea...

Wrong date/time for Low Max Temp

Hi, I don't recall seeing this issue being reported, my apologies if I missed it in the Known Issues. Yesterday, 4/8, I had a Low Max temp of 74.0F at 2:01 pm. This was captured correctly in the monthlyalltime.ini file, but in the month.ini it is showing the date/time as 4/9 1:01 pm (exactly + 23 ho...

Re: Gust values from LOOP2 packets

I've installed 3022 and will keep an eye on the 10 min gust plots over the next few days to see how they look.
Thanks!

Re: Gust values from LOOP2 packets

Well, just for the heck of it, I put in the LOOP2 disable entry into my Cumulus.ini and already it appears to have missed a daily high gust entry. My console is showing a high just of 22.0 mph at 11:12 HST and MX seems to have not picked it up. I'm going to leave LOOP2 enabled since ultimately it is...

Re: Gust values from LOOP2 packets

Thanks, Steve for the research and contacting Davis. It'll be interesting to see if you get a response.

It certainly is curious that they haven't caught this themselves somehow.

Gust values from LOOP2 packets

Does anyone happen to know if the Gust value supplied by the Davis LOOP2 packets is definitely supposed to be the peak value for "last 10 minutes", or some other time frame? The reason I ask is I see gust value behavior similar to the following in my data log file every so often: Values ar...

Re: Server Generated Graphs for MX

If it helps anyone, I had to use the ./ syntax for the locations in the graphSettings.php file in order to get it to work. I assume that is because my webhost is linux. $GRAPH['jsonloc'] = "./"; $GRAPH['jpgraphloc'] = "./jpgraph/src/"; $GRAPH['jpgraphcache'] = "./jpgraph/cac...
