Re: v.4.5.0.0 Solar

Good afternoon Hans

Yesterday I did everything you indicate; I do it whenever I run an update.

I have also cleared the browser cache without noticing any change.

I attach the corresponding log file

Re: v.4.5.0.0 Solar

Greetings to all Greetings Hans I have downloaded what I think is the latest version: cumulusutils v450beta.zip I ran it today as usual at the start of the day. I don't see the solar charts and the version that appears is: CumulusUtils Version 4.4.1 I'm sure I've done something wrong, but I'm very i...

Re: FWI not update

It seems that, now, the badameteo page already works fine:

Thank you very much for the help Hans

Re: Version 4.2.3

Greetings Hans The correct version number is already listed. ;) I think you have had a success (one more) in choosing SpotWx as your forecasting system; the point is that, despite indicating in cumulusutils.ini that I use that system, in my case it doesn't work. :? Saludos desde San Sebastian

Re: New Record? Post here.

My station has broken a new absolute record for the maximum temperature recorded in Guipuzcoa (province of Spain): 41.1 ªC on July 30, 2020 at 4:27 p.m. http://kocher.es/cumulusMX/betel_mx_monthlyrecord.htm The previous record for the station was set at 39.9 ºC on July 23, 2019

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

By the way, although it is not related to this thread (I don't really know where to post it), I have updated to today's new version 4.1.0 but, it still shows (despite removing the browser cache) the version that I had installed previously: Version 4.1.0 beta: http://kocher.es/cumulusMX/FWI/

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

The problem is presentation ... There is no (European) common symbol or graphic that immediately conveys Fire warning. If you just show a coloured scale without explanation, especially vertically, it will interpreted as a thermometer with strange values ! I agree, but I will try to do something By ...

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

@ Hans But I am sure there is a Spanish equivalent of the acronym because Wildfires are a plague elsewhere in your country and there is a great tradition of study of wildfires Although it may seem incredible to you, there is no acronym for fire risk; in fact, the State Meteorological Agency does no...

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

Perhaps it can be explained in another way: It would be interesting to be able to show a kind of horizontal "thermometer", divided into the different zones of possible colors and an indicator (it can be the triangle, the icon, or both) indicating the current value in said thermometer), thi...

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

Yes; that's the idea; it is about getting a sufficiently descriptive graphic "icon" to see the current status of the FWI. I like the current icon, but it is too small for a web page (I think) and does not provide much information to those who do not know the subject. I guess it's hard to c...

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

Hi Javier, @Beteljuice, The way Beteljuice proposes is the way I intended (and described) it to be used. But the way you actually did it, apparently works also very good so:  and thanks to Beteljuice as well :) Is there a reason you did not use Beteljuices proposal? I'll mention your method i...

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

In the end the problem has been solved. Using PHP, I don't know if it is very elegant, but it works. The code used is: <div align="center"> <a title="Riesgo de Incendio actual (FWI) Rango: 0 - 630" href="./cumulusMX/FWI"> <?php $fwi = file_get_contents('./cumulusMX/FWI/...

Re: Fire Weather - pwsFWI

I have sung victory before my time. I still don't know how to insert the content of the URL text: http://kocher.es/cumulusMX/FWI/pwsFWIcurrent.txt I mean a way to see the information of form; to change when the text of that URL changes. I have thought about PHP or javascript, but I think that today ...
