Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
Nice app :-) The time periods that appear on the trends graphs aren't correct - where you see 12 hours, my graphs stretch over 72 hours; and where you see 30 days, my graphs stretch over 90 days. I guess these periods are configurable within Cumulus somehwere. Yea when I made the app I didn't know ...

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
If the app is already installed on your phone, you'll likely have to go into the Play Store on your phone, pull the notification drawer, click the app "Home Weather Station" and update.jpsc wrote:Will the new app update automatically?
There seem to be some broken image links in your post

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
A few weeks ago I uploaded a relatively significant update to the app. The look of the app has been slightly updated and a map has been added to easily view other weather stations and to easily select your own weather station. Please complete this form to add your weather station to the map: https:/...

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
Just gave this a try. Nice. worked out of the box first try. Gave it a rating. Nice how it doesn't over emphasise wind like most weather apps... Would be nice to have DewPt front an center since around here that is important to go with the temp. Would be interested if you plan on offering skins (di...

Ok I see what you mean. I'll think of a way to show a title in future updates. There has been some request for personalization of the app and I will look into adding these features in the near future.

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
Fine, it works well. It would be nice to put a title on it, as part of settings, e.g. weather station name (and not from another weather source as some have me as Zlatina, Greece (as opposed to Bulgaria) and others have the name of the village from 70 years ago (not sure how they managed that, lol)...

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
Glad to hear it's working.grwkak wrote:Using http://http://www.wilsonsweather.host-ed.me
Not sure if it needs the public_html added (needed as that is where the files reside).

Update - using / at end (missed in instructions) worked - now I have imperial units etc.

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
Units should be provided by the weather station. Is the weather station you are viewing set to display imperial units? What's the weather stations url?grwkak wrote:Any chance it can incorporate imperial units?

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
Looks nice  Few questions/suggestions came to my mind while testing the app - From where app takes sun/clouds icon? - Icon shows SUN(forecast?), while isSunny webtag equals 0, also solar is 10% of theoretical max - I think there is enough space on main page (now) to add Solar&SunHours or ...

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
Very useful, especially the trend graphs (far easier than accessing my website), although it has crashed there a few times when changing orientation from portait to landscape. Would it be possible to make the graphs zoomable? Does the header graphic change with the forecast? (only seen full sun and...

Making it multilingual is a future plan. It shouldn't be too hard since there won't be too much to translate.nitrx wrote:Works fine on Nexus 10 Android 4.4 kitkat , can you make it multilangual ?

Re: Home Weather Station - New Android App
I like it - apart from the ads of course. I did have to make a change to Cumulus to provide the realtime.txt file as it's not normally unloaded on my system I'll end up making a paid ($0.99) version without ads in the future. There are thing's I still need to fix and implement in the free version f...
