Mark:

Thanks for the reply and the further explanation. I didn't expect these to be problematic. However, it's good to know we can see them if they don't clear.

South Jordan Weather MXDiags b3244 Attached

Hello all: I've been running b3244 since 17 May and it's working very well for me. So far, no "error" messages showing up on the CumulusMX runtime dialog. I'm attaching my recent MXDiags file just so it can be reviewed for anything of interest. I'm using the HTTP upload and the only issue ...

Re: MXDiags Attached - Error and Unhandled Exceptions b3241 - SoJo Wx

I see one error in the log for the upload.php. That means during more than one whole day there is only one upload error. If you do not see any additional failures I would just ignore this. I assume CMX recovers and restores the connection. Yes, something, some transfer, missed on the internet. It h...

MXDiags Attached - Error and Unhandled Exceptions b3241 - SoJo Wx

Hello all: I have attached the MXDiags file for b3241. There is a previously reported Error in the log. Further down there are some Unhandled Exception messages that also show up in the CMX runtime dialog form. As a reminder CMX is using the PHP upload option. Even with the Error and Exceptions the ...

Re: New PHP Upload Process

It is difficult to debug based on a single MXdiags logging message, as there is no context. It is best to upload the log file to provide context. Compression and decompression are built in to both MX and probably your web server - there is no need to install gzip in either case. If compression is a...

Re: New PHP Upload Process

Hello all: At the present time I'm running CumulusMX on a Windows 10 laptop. I was able to update CMX from b3235 to b3241 last evening (US MDT). I upgraded my version using HansR's installCMX program and it worked very well. Once I verified the upgrade worked properly, I converted my upload to the P...

Re: Another MXdiags Zip File Attached b3235

Hello all:

Looks like you figured out the Windows version. I’ve been traveling today and haven’t been able to pay attention to emails.

As of 01:15 UTC on 21 Apr 2023 the station is still up. Can’t check the log until later.

Thanks all for looking into this.

Re: Another MXdiags Zip File Attached b3235

Hans: As near as I can determine on the latest MXdiag that I sent wasn't running very long. I shutdown and restarted CMX because the Realtime gauges were not updating even though I didn't change anything in the Cumulus.ini file. It could have been that one I/O error on line 480 that caused the probl...

Another MXdiags Zip File Attached b3235

Hello all: There appears to be an issue with SFTP load timings clashing. On line 13230 of the 20230413-004640.txt referencing a problem with threading. This causes the CMX to crash and stop sending files to the web server. First part of error message: Probable I/O race condition detected while copyi...

Re: MXDiags Zip File - Latest MXdiags 20230407

Attached is the most recent Zip of the MXdiags.

This is a new/fresh install of the most recent built (b2325). Perhaps there are some options that are set incorrectly that are causing issues?

MXDiags Zip File

Hello: I've installed CumulusMX on a Windows laptop running Win 10 64bit. This is the second time the software has quit running since I brought the station back online. This is build 3235 and it is the only version that has been running on this computer. The Zip file is everything in the MXDiags fol...

CumulusMX b 3036 on Raspberry Pi 2 - MXDiags file attached

Steve: I have attached a log file for your review. This evening, I made a change via the Settings option via the dashboard. Please find the timestamp of 2016-01-06 17:08:56.050. A few lines down in the log there are some error messages. I've since seen a note that Cumulus should be stopped before ma...

CumulusMX on RPi and Weather by You

I'm currently running 1.9.4 on a Win10/64 Laptop. I'd like to convert to CumulusMX on RPi to support my Davis VP2 station. I also push data to my Weather by You website. Just wondering if MX is ready to work with Weather by You.

Thank you,

Re: New Cumulus User - Missing Uploads to CWOP

Steve:

Thanks very much for the speedy reply... that did the trick. CWOP is updating right on time now and has been for over an hour.

I appreciate the work you've put into Cumulus. There's a lot more to learn and explore, but I'm really enjoying what I've seen thus far.

New Cumulus User - Missing Uploads to CWOP

Hello all: Late yesterday, I installed Cumulus 1.9.3 (1059) and I really like the program. I'm running a VP2 station, firmware 3.12. Up until yesterday, I was using another uploader (WUHU) to upload data to CWOP and WU (w/Rapid Fire). Checking my previous CWOP logs, I find the uploads were every 10 ...
